EMPLOYER: Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC
POSITION: Scientist - R&D
DUTIES: The Scientist - R&D is responsible for leading product development across the Philadelphia cream cheese category. Specific duties include: (i) creating and executing work plans and driving for results in a variety of challenging and complex settings; (ii) design and execution of product testing analyzing data drawing conclusions preparing documentation communicating results and product commercialization (benchtop through scale up); (iii) serving as R&D leader for technical projects to meet business initiatives focused on growth brand maintenance cost engineering and quality improvement; (iv) driving the innovation strategy and long-term technology enablers for the business unit; and (v) managing multiple assignments/ tasks concurrently with high autonomy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Food Science or directly related field and at least three (3) years of experience in a dairy or plant-based product development and commercialization role. Must have some experience with: Developing cream cheese dairy or plant-based products; Utilizing knowledge of plant-based chemistry and quality for plant-based products and processing; Working directly with cross-functional teams as the R&D project leader to drive effective results; Developing and implementing multiple new product launches from concept to commercialization with successful transition from development to production; Designing and conducting plant trials summarizing results and creating formulas processing procedures and finished product specifications; Utilizing knowledge of ingredient interactions functionality and ingredient technology; and Leading scoping of fuzzy front innovation ideas and influence in ideation sessions.

PAY SCALE & BENEFITS:
New Hire Base Salary Range: $79518 $97300
- Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
