Basic Job Functions:
The responsibilities of the Production Control Lead include and are not limited to:
- Being a positive member of the NTS leadership team.
- Being an active participant in developing teammates according to The Nucor Way.
- Leading and managing the weekly and monthly production planning cycles to meet customer OTD.
- Collaborate effectively with operations maintenance commercial project management procurement and other teams at the headquarter office to establish and maintain backlog capacities.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards always.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Production scheduling experience.
- Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control costs etc. for manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word Excel and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft D365.
- Previous Greenfield experience.
- Steel industry experience
- College education or certification(s).
