Customer Support Coordinator (Project Support & Ports)

Location: Athens Greece (12 months fixed term)

The Project Support & Ports Coordinator is responsible for coordination and management of multi-discipline multi-location project support jobs. This role includes all responsibilities of the Administrator role with additional focus areas to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. Spanish proficiency is a must!

The role

  • Project Support: Oversee the coordination and delivery of simple and standard projects ensuring they are completed on time and within scope including:
  • Allocating team members to execute work in ByD.
  • Approving time entries and confirming job completion.
  • Allocating costs and managing project budgets.
  • Chasing deliverables and ensuring timely completion.
  • Closing projects and ensuring all deliverables are met.
  • Support profitability reviews by providing accurate and timely project data.
  • Additionally: Collate and securely submit documentation to external systems / portals within specific countries that ensures LR can continue to operate (such as within a specific shipyard).
  • Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with internal and external operational stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle serving as the primary point of contact for specified teams facilitating the handoff of projects requiring coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery and support.
  • Knowledge Management:Oversee knowledge management efforts within the relevant project support team ensuring critical knowledge is built maintained shared and applied globally promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
  • Client Centricity: Responsible for identifying customer needs and taking proactive steps to maintain positive experiences positive experiences. Promote a client-centricity culture focusing on a positive and consistent client journey.
  • Ownership Handover:Ensure smooth and clear handover of tasks between teams during process cycle. Follow RACI document and clearly communicate transition points to avoid any task overlap or gaps in ownership.

What you bring

  • Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times robustly implementing health and safety rules instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
  • Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO) accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Support or a similar support role experience with project management tools and methodologies is highly preferred.
  • Very good command of English proficiency and Spanish
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues and operate in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience in managing requests and meeting KPI targets.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to support and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of global standards and processes with the ability to ensure compliance.
