Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer
Role is open for Full time hiring only. Role is not openfor sponsorship
Snowflake Data Engineer will support data integration and transformation efforts on Snowflake by assisting in ETL development Kafka data ingestion monitoring and data mapping tasks. This role will work under the guidance of the Senior Engineer to deliver high-quality well-documented data assets
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building and testing ETL jobs using Talend.
Support Kafka-based data ingestion pipelines by monitoring and managing data flow.
Execute data mapping tasks ensuring source-target alignment and documentation.
Write and optimize SQL queries for Snowflake-based transformations and reports.
Participate in debugging error resolution and QA processes.
Key Skills:
Experience in Snowflake dialects
13 years of experience in data engineering or development roles.
Basic understanding of Snowflake concepts (warehousing views roles etc.).
Exposure to Kafka concepts and working with streaming or real-time data.
Hands-on experience or training in ETL tools like Talend Informatica or dbt.
Good understanding of data structures data types and mapping logic.
Strong attention to detail willingness to learn and good communication skills.
