BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)Reports to:Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA Building Principal and Director of Pupil ServicesThe assistant position is accountable for working with students under the supervision and guidance of a BCBA. The Behavior Assistant works cooperatively within the school environment and is responsible for providing support in classrooms discrete trials implementing programming analyzing data measuring progress and assisting with developing behavior plans. Additionally the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) manages a small caseload under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing direct services to clients by implementing all programs developed and/or approved by BCBA Responsibilities:Managing a small caseload under the direct and regular supervision of BCBA providing Protocol Modification and Family Treatment weekly with the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and come prepared to do a case review on each assessments and writing assessment reports revised by the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA).Develop programming for clients on an ongoing basis and make sure to keep teaching instructions up to with leading behavior management/crisis protocolsAttends TEAM meetings as neededGraphs monitor and analyze data that is collectedDevelops trains and monitors the implementation of discrete trialsComplete other duties that may be assigned. Attend staff meetings and team meetings as required. Medicaid reporting and documentation. Assist with home services as in continuing education opportunities such as BcABA/BCBA licensure and/or other opportunities as needed to maintain current licensure and remain knowledgeable of current trends in therapy in school settings.
