This position involves reviewing structural drawings and specifications to prepare material and labor take-offs coordinating with subcontractors and developing accurate cost estimates for commercial steel projects.
This is a fully on-site contract-to-possible-perm position.
Job Requirements:
5 years of structural steel estimating experience
Proficiency with Bluebeam software
FabTrol experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of structural steel materials fabrication processes and labor costs
Experience developing detailed take-offs and pricing from construction documents
Ability to assess bid specs project requirements and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors
