About the Job
You will be responsible for the accounts payable and the accounts receivable function for Imperial Hotel Gold Coast. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reconciliation of daily revenue trust accounts and bank accounts
- Management of all invoicing against purchase orders
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Effectively manage aged receivables and report accordingly
- Accuracy of financial statements
- Provide support to the Finance department as required
About you
- Previous accounts receivable and/ or accounts payable experience
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with management of trust accounts
- Understanding of basic accounting principles fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability with Sun Systems and RMS or Opera PMS
- Dynamic individual with an ability to multitask
- Strong commitment to process improvement
- Able to work effectively within a small team and has a proactive approach to assisting the team to cover fluctuations in workloads when required.
- Ability to build and manage client relationships
