We are currently recruiting for aService Technician / Journeyman Electricianto join our team inWinnipeg MB. If you are looking for a dynamic organization this is the opportunity for you.
The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to provide maintenance and repair services for petroleum dispensing equipment and related equipment. Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting petroleum equipment having electrical knowledge and expertise. TSSA and/or CPCA certified would be an asset but not required.
Role Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum dispensing equipment car wash systems and related machinery. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Install test and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations as per regulatory requirements and manufacturers instructions and procedures
- Assess diagnose consult source parts and manage inventory effectively.
- Work with sub-contractors to complete project tasks for additional disciplines as required (electrical excavation concrete civil)
- Work independently and as part of a team collaborating effectively with other trades and customers.
- Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) using proper lifting techniques.
- Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
- Commit to learning and completing all required safety training and apply to daily duties.
Qualifications
- Red Seal or Journeyman as Construction Electrician
- Understanding of various EV charging standards and protocols such as Level 1 Level 2 and DC Fast Charging (Level 3) would be considered an asset
- High energy self-motivated and must have a positive attitude
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills
- Strong Customer Service Experience
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtime
- Training will be provided
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
