Location: Ghent
Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated (social media) Marketing Intern to lead a project focused on increasing organic engagement across our Woman in Menopause (WIM) digital platforms including the website and social media channels (Instagram Facebook). You will be responsible for auditing current performance building a content engagement strategy and executing tactics that drive authentic long-term audience interaction.
Project Overview: Boost Organic Engagement on Woman in Menopause (WIM) Platform
Objectives:
Assess the current state of the WIM platforms organic engagement
Benchmark best practices in digital healthcare communication
Develop and propose an engagement strategy
Create and publish optimized content across key channels
Track performance and report on impact
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Audit & Opportunity Mapping
Analyze current website and social media performance (reach engagement traffic SEO)
Review audience behavior and platform trends
Identify content gaps and improvement opportunities
2. Strategy Development
Benchmark relevant health platforms for inspiration
Propose a short-term organic growth strategy focused on relevance interaction and trust
Suggest KPIs and content pillars aligned with womens health topics
3. Content Creation & Execution
Create engaging informative and compliant content (posts visuals micro-campaigns)
Tailor messaging by platform (WIM website Instagram LinkedIn Facebook)
Work with internal teams and designers to refine and adapt visuals
4. Community & Campaign Support
Assist in executing content calendar and monitoring audience interaction
Support planning and content rollout for World Menopause Day (October 18)
Coordinate messaging across corporate and WIM channels
5. Tracking & Reporting
Monitor performance using analytics tools (reach engagement traffic)
Deliver a final summary report with results insights and improvement ideas
Qualifications
Student or recent graduate in Marketing Communication Digital Media or Life Sciences
Strong interest in womens health and purpose-driven communication
Understanding of organic social media strategies and platforms
Creative mindset with content creation or storytelling ability
Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva and/or Adobe) and website/social analytics (GA4 Meta)
Comfortable writing in Dutch and French with attention to tone and clarity
Organized self-starting and curious
