As we accelerate our growth were seeking Senior Software Engineers to help us become the global leader in #teltech.
About the role
You will work with a team of skilled engineers and build modern architecture and technology. Our backend is built in Golang and runs in AWS using Kubernetes. Communication between backend services utilizes gRPC and the frontend uses React. We use both GraphQL and REST and primarily use PostgreSQL databases with event sourcing.
We are scaling up our platform to new markets with dynamic requirements and you will play a crucial role in shaping designing and building fundamental components. As the company expands you will help us tackle new and interesting challenges scaling our platform from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions of users.
We have openings in multiple teams and hiring will be based on your background skills and technical interests. For the right person there are opportunities to take on a leading technical role whether from day one or over time helping the team build a clear technical vision and make strategic technology choices as we scale.
About you
You are an experienced Sr. Software Engineer who has probably worked at several companies including at least one startup and has grown with them from an early stage. You are currently working with Go (or a similar)in a full-stack backend-focused role and are comfortable diving into occasional front-end work with React. You are excited about joining a startup journey where you will shape both product and technology while working in a small high-autonomy team.
What you bring to the table
- 5 years as a backend/full-stack engineer in a modern tech environment.
- Strong experience with Go (Golang) and SQL (bonus for GraphQL React Typescript).
- Ability to collaborate effectively and solve complex technical problems as part of a team.
- Passion for technology and excitement for the challenges of continuously adapting technology and working methods to support our scaling journey.
- Take ownership of your growth and support the development of others eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Drives technical and process improvements actively seeking ways to enhance technology and workflows with a motivation to implement positive changes for both the team and the company.
- Autonomous self-motivated likes new challenges and takes responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high proficiency in English.
