Job Description
RN/Float Pool Permanent Role
- Location: Waco TX 76712
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple units as assigned.
- Assess patient needs develop individualized care plans and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policy.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses procedures and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to infection control policies and patient safety protocols.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing standards procedures and best practices.
- Understanding of regulatory and legal standards in nursing and patient care.
- Familiarity with health promotion risk reduction disease prevention and chronic care management.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient general computer skills and experience with EHR systems.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program OR have a minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience is required.
- Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
