Job Description
Title: Information Architect
Location: Westlake TX
Duration: 12 months
You will work with squad leaders product area leaders and application development teams to identify key data subject areas across products access methods data gaps data duplication and future state data capabilities. The role will expand to other areas such as shared operations data stores and data warehouses on Snowflake. * BS or masters in comp science or engineering * 10 years experience in architecture (experience working with tech as well as business stakeholders and senior leadership) * Data modeling in OLTP and OLAP * Experience in RDBMS (such as Oracle Postgres Snowflake) * Experience architecting or designing data solutions (business use cases for data best practices) and Cloud technologies
Job Description:
FI Data Architecture is seeking an individual who is looking for an ambitious and exciting opportunity as an Information Architect / Data Architect / Strong Data Analyst to accelerate FIT s Data Strategy initiative. Data is the foundation of FI s technology capabilities. You will work with squad leaders product area leaders and application development teams to identify key data subject areas across products access methods data gaps data duplication and future state data capabilities. The role will expand to other areas such as shared operations data stores and data warehouses on Snowflake.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A bachelor s degree in a technology related field required (Comp Science Engineering etc.). Master s degree would be a strong plus.
- 10 years of industry experience in data engineering analytics design and development of enterprise data solutions in multiple technology platforms frameworks and languages.
- Data Modeling experience would be a strong plus.
- Demonstrated technology experience in architecting or designing and successfully building highly scalable and resilient data solutions.
- Experience in Modern Data Architecture techniques and Cloud Data Technologies.
- Proven experience in Relational Databases and Reporting & Analytics.
- Knowledge and / or experience in architecting modern data integration frameworks highly scalable distributed systems using open source and emerging data architecture designs and patterns experience with batch processing and data movement technologies.
- Software development skills and experience a strong plus.
The Team
You will play a very hands-on role as a member of the FI data architecture team which is a part of FI s overall Architecture organization
