Physical Therapy Assistant Permanent Role - Location: College Station TX 77845
- Shift: 12 HR Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Responsibilities: - Administer physical therapy interventions as outlined by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist and instruct patients in therapeutic activities and mobility including transfers and gait training.
- Monitor patient performance and physical status to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Educate patients on modalities and ensure safe and appropriate usage.
- Escort patients to treatment areas and establish rapport in a professional manner.
- Create and document home exercise programs and supplemental instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to communicate patient progress and adjust goals as needed.
- Submit accurate charges in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications: - Education: Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required (new grads welcome).
- Licensure/Certification:
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
