Job Description
- Location: College Station TX 77845
- Shift: 8 HR Days 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately.
- Provide timely and cost-effective imaging services.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain professional behavior and communication with patients families and the healthcare team.
- Review patient satisfaction results and contribute to improvement plans.
- Stay current with industry practices and provide age-specific care (from newborn to geriatrics).
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations and administer first aid if needed.
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are properly maintained sanitized and restocked.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Calm and effective under pressure and during emergencies.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
Certifications/Licensure (any one of the following):
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS):
- RDMS-OB (Obstetrics/Gynecology)
- RDMS-AB (Abdomen)
- RDMS-BR (Breast)
- MSK (Musculoskeletal)
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT):
- ARRT-S (Sonography)
- ARRT-BS (Breast Sonography)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI):
- RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
BLS Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
