Job Description
Role: LPN-LTC
Location: Pittsford NY 14534
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8hr Evenings
Schedule: 40 hrs per week/5 days
Pay breakdown:
Hourly rate - $38.00
Weekly Gross - $ 1520.00
Job Summary:
Overview:
We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a strong background and passion for Longterm Care. This position is ideal for LPNs who want to make a lasting impact in a Longterm Care setting by providing personalized high-quality care to residents in need.
- Provide hands-on nursing care as an LPN in a Longterm Care facility
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes in a Longterm Care environment
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as a licensed LPN in compliance with Longterm Care protocols
- Assist residents with ADLs and ensure their dignity and comfort in the Longterm Care unit
- Document nursing care in accordance with Longterm Care policies and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians RNs and other Longterm Care staff to ensure cohesive care plans
- Follow infection control practices and state regulations required in Longterm Care settings
Requirements:
- Current NYS Practical Nurse (PN) License
- Previous experience in long-term or acute care preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills suited for a Longterm Care environment
