Job Description
Job Title: VMC Programmer
No. of Posts: 1
Qualification: ITI/ Diploma (Mechanical) or BE/BTech (Mechanical)
Experience: 2-3 years in VMC programming and operation
Industry Preference: Orthopaedic manufacturing (added advantage)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform VMC setting programming and machine operation for precision components.
- Select appropriate tools fixtures and cutting parameters for optimal machining.
- Interpret engineering blueprints and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometres verniers CMM) for quality checks.
- Program and simulate jobs using CAD/NX CAM software (e.g. Solid Edge Siemens NX).
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and ensure quality standards (e.g. ISO GD&T).
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines.
Required Skills:
Expertise in VMC programming (G-code/M-code) and 3/4-axis machining.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Solid Edge NX CAM Mastercam etc..
Strong knowledge of tool selection feeds/speeds and workpiece alignment.
Ability to read technical drawings (tolerances surface finish etc..
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork.
Job Details:
- Salary:CTC/month
- Transportation: Own arrangement required
- Location: Vadodara Sama Savli
Preferred Candidates:
- Prior experience in orthopaedic implant machining (e.g. bone screws joints).
- Familiarity with medical-grade materials (stainless steel titanium alloys).
