Job Description

The Corporate Compliance department supports the business units managers and employees in mastering the constantly growing challenges posed by criminal and regulatory law at national and international level and in making the right decisions. The focus is on compliance areas such as anti-bribery/anti-corruption antitrust anti-money-laundering trade sanctions consumer protection and competition law.

The core task of Corporate Compliance is to implement an effective compliance management system that successfully promotes awareness of compliance risks and integrity and sustainably prevents potential misconduct. The aim is also to detect and remedy legal violations investigate suspected cases and take immediate action if necessary.

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Expert to join our team at our headquarters in Munich to provide day-to-day compliance advice to the business units and to further expand our compliance management system.

 

  • You advise all business units on compliance questions arising from day-to-day business
  • You take responsibility for managing existing compliance processes
  • You provide expert guidance on compliance topics that supports informed decision-making by senior stakeholders.
  • You evaluate compliance-relevant contract content and ensure alignment with internal standards and legal obligations.
  • You identify assess and prioritize compliance risks across business units. You support the Head of Corporate Compliance in transferring risks to corporate risk management and in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • You drive the continuous improvement of internal compliance structuresincluding global policies controls and governance processesto ensure effectiveness consistency and scalability.
  • You design and implement engaging targeted compliance training programs. You foster a culture of ethical behavior through communication leadership alignment and ongoing education.
  • You develop and implement individual Group-internal compliance measures
  • You drive the implementation of compliance projects
  • You plan and conduct compliance investigations internal audits and monitoring efforts to uncover assess and respond to violations ensuring transparency accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications :

  • Completed studies in economics or law or a comparable course of study
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in compliance risk management governance or auditing in an auditing firm or an international company (preferably in the retail/eCommerce sector)
  • Certification in compliance or audit (CFE CAMS CIA) desirable
  • Deep knowledge of German and international laws and regulations in the areas of corruption antitrust money laundering trade sanctions consumer protection and competition law
  • Very good understanding of operational processes and a high affinity for technical processes and IT solutions
  • Independent self-starter goal- and result-oriented way of working. Use subject matter & wider area expertise to achieve results.
  • Strong stakeholder management  communication and change management skills; drives best practices across the company
  • High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn as well as an efficient and structured way of working
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining operational excellence
  • Fluent written and spoken German and very good English skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
