Job Description
As a Counter Salesperson you will provide sales support and exceptional customer service to walk-in customers at our Profit Center counters. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Assist customers with purchases product inquiries and recommendations while driving sales growth through counter merchandising and product promotion
- Process sales orders returns and warranty claims in compliance with company procedures
- Maintain a clean well-stocked counter area and manage inventory levels
- Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales teams to support overall sales efforts
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience
- Excellent customer service communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in operating sales software and processing orders
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of plumbing and building products preferred
- Experience with Trend Eclipse Word Excel and Outlook an asset
