Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Lead and supervise the Reception/Transportation team while ensuring all service standards are followed
- Handle Owner/Guest concerns and react quickly logging and notifying proper departments
- Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Assign tasks according to daily workflow
- Balance operational administrative and Colleague needs
- Assist Owners and Guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Coordinate arrival and departure schedules for Owners and Guests
- Coordinate daily transportation needs
- Manager on duty responsibilities as assigned
- Follow department policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License in good standing required
- Previous experience in guest services department preferred
- Previous Property Management System experience preferred
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
