Your Role
As a working Team Lead you will support the Warehouse Supervisor and work closely with your teams to deliver the correct product to the correct customer on time and in full. You will identify opportunities of improvement within the process and implement strategies while ensuring safety quality and efficiency. This position is 100% onsite #Li-onsite at our South Charlotte location about 4 miles away from Carowinds
You will lead floor operations; handle questions and problems that arise; prioritize and assign work load
You will coach and mentor between 10 to 15 employees
You will maintain smooth workflow within the assigned area and all procedures are followed
You will review the previous day outstanding Pick Report to ensure priority of processing while checking on status of orders throughout the day
You will maintain inventory accuracy by product and location
You will research the root cause when orders are delayed in shipment and make operational adjustments to prevent similar issues from happening in the future
You will ensure that employees arrive at their work stations on time - Shift start meeting
You will lead the daily standing shift start meetings
You will support timekeeping and attendance tracking of the team

You have 4 years of warehouse experience that include driving forklifts inventory control quality inspections preferred
You have knowledge of warehouse operation best practices
You have knowledge of SAP and/or BPCS preferred UPS/ FedEx/Mesca shipping software a plus
You have demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating a team
You are fluent in English as this is our internal language.
