A Day in the Life of an LPN / CMA - Urology Clinic

In this role youll be pivotal in coordinating a physicians clinic day focusing on direct patient care through tasks such as room preparation patient assessment and assisting in medical procedures. Your responsibilities extend to indirect patient care as well involving meticulous documentation in medical records managing supplies and facilitating efficient patient scheduling and follow-ups. You will operate various medical devices confidently and assist in administering medications as prescribed. This role requires you to act as the primary communication bridge between patients doctors and other medical departments to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Expect a dynamic work environment where prioritizing and multitasking are essential in managing stressful situations and adapting to varied patient needs.

Education and Experience

Required

• Current LPN license from the State of Minnesota -OR- Graduate of a medical assistant program with CMA OR CCMA certification within one year of hire
• CurrentAmerican HeartAssociation BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• One year of clinical nursing experience
