The Broadcast Engineer for the Office of Strategic Communications & Civic Engagement is responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of all equipment used in the production and transmission of the Citys broadcast signals. This role ensures the reliability and quality of broadcasts by managing and troubleshooting technical issues across various platforms including television radio and digital streaming. The Broadcast Engineer works closely with production teams IT staff and other technical personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally the Broadcast Engineer will oversee the Public Access Studio based in the Main Library and will work with Library staff to support community producers use of that space.
