Job Description

Job Description: Sonographer (Nights) Location: Burlington Vermont United States Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Maintain patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures. Ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Review and evaluate images for quality and completeness. Document findings accurately in patient records. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to discuss ultrasound findings and recommendations. Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices. Essential Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate from a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent. ARDMS registered with an ABD or OB/GYN credential. Minimum of 2 years of paid scanning experience. Desired Experience: Experience in a level I trauma center is a plus. Familiarity with Epic EMR is advantageous.
