Job Description: Radiation Therapist - Lumberton Company Overview We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team in Lumberton North Carolina. This role is critical in the delivery of high-quality patient care in the field of radiation oncology. Job Responsibilities Administer radiation treatments to patients in accordance with the prescribed treatment plan. Operate radiation equipment such as Elekta ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards. Monitor patients during treatments and manage any side effects or concerns that arise. Document treatment procedures and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures. Maintain equipment and prepare treatment areas to ensure a safe working environment. Engage in ongoing training and professional development. Essential Qualifications ARRT Certified is required. Open to new graduates from accredited radiation therapy programs. Prior experience with Elekta equipment is preferred. Desired Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred. Salary & Benefits The hourly salary for this position ranges from $36.83 to $47.74 and will be determined based on the candidates experience and interview performance.
