Per-Diem Pharmacist
Location: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Pharmacies
Schedule: Monday Friday availability (Per-Diem/As-Needed)
Position Summary:
Nuvem is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented Per-Diem Pharmacist to support our pharmacy locations within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). This role offers the benefit of working in a retail-style setting while being embedded within a clinical environment. Ideal for pharmacists looking for weekday flexibility this position provides the opportunity to work closely with care teams and impact community health outcomes.
As a key representative of the pharmacy you will be responsible for managing the relationship with our FQHC partners. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their staff offering medication education and serving as an integral member of the broader patient care team.
Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality patient care through accurate dispensing medication counseling and chronic disease support.
Foster a team culture built on compassion collaboration and clinical excellence.
Lead and direct pharmacy staff to ensure operational and clinical goals are achieved.
Essential Job Functions:
Educate patients on proper medication usage and adherence.
Supervise staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians (if applicable) supporting their development through ongoing training and feedback.
Manage daily pharmacy operations with a focus on:
Patient safety and professional best practices
Compliance with federal state and local regulations
Quality assurance and workflow efficiency
Inventory and financial oversight
Customer service excellence
Personnel supervision and performance management
Loss prevention and risk mitigation
Stay current with HIPAA Fraud Waste & Abuse training and credentialing requirements.
Ensure all pharmacy practices are compliant with applicable laws policies and partner facility protocols.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
Active pharmacist license in the state of practice (in good standing)
Minimum 4 5 years of retail pharmacy experience
At least 3 years of pharmacy management experience
Proven ability to lead and manage pharmacy teams
Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills
High level of professionalism integrity and commitment to patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within 340B pharmacy programs
Prior experience in community health or FQHC settings
