Overview
The PRT EVS Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the environmental awareness and scientific understanding of young students in primary education. This position focuses on delivering engaging and interactive lessons centered around Environmental Studies (EVS) fostering a deep appreciation for nature and sustainability from an early age. The teacher is responsible for developing practical skills through project-based learning ensuring that children are aware of their environmental responsibilities. The individual will work closely with other educators contributing to a holistic educational approach that incorporates environmental themes across the curriculum. By promoting curiosity and critical thinking the PRT EVS Teacher empowers students to become informed global citizens who appreciate biodiversity conservation and ecological balance. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans centered around Environmental Studies.
- Incorporate hands-on activities and field trips to enhance students practical understanding of environmental concepts.
- Create and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods providing feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate environmental themes into various subjects.
- Organize and lead discussions on local and global environmental issues.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to environmental challenges.
- Attend professional development workshops to keep abreast of educational trends.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and environmental projects.
- Supervise and guide students during outdoor activities and projects.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to student assessments and curricular activities.
- Promote sustainability initiatives within the school community.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Education or Environmental Science.
- Teaching certification with specialization in Primary Education.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental issues and sustainability practices.
- Familiarity with various teaching methodologies and learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create innovative and engaging lesson plans.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
