Overview
The Dermatologist - Aesthetics plays a critical role in the healthcare landscape by specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders particularly related to aesthetic concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to assess skin conditions and aesthetic goals.
- Perform a range of aesthetic procedures including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers.
- Utilize laser technologies for skin rejuvenation and other dermatological treatments.
- Develop customized treatment regimens based on patient evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards during procedures.
- Educate patients about skincare routines and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and treatment plans.
- Monitor and manage potential side effects or complications from treatments.
- Stay abreast of advancements in dermatology and aesthetic techniques.
- Train and mentor junior medical staff on aesthetic practices.
- Build strong professional relationships with patients promoting trust and satisfaction.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency in dermatology.
- Board certification in dermatology.
- Additional specialty training in aesthetic dermatology is preferred.
- Valid state medical license.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an aesthetic dermatology practice.
- Proven experience with aesthetic procedures and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetic judgment.
