Job Description
Overview: The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of English plays a critical role in shaping the academic success and personal growth of secondary school students. This position is pivotal in fostering an appreciation for literature and language while enhancing students communication skills. The PGT English is responsible for developing engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. By promoting critical thinking and analytical skills through literature analysis creative writing and effective communication exercises this role significantly impacts the students learning experience. Required Qualifications:
- Master s degree in English or Education.
- Bachelor s degree in Education with a focus on English.
- Teaching certification for secondary education.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in teaching English at the higher secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of English literature grammar and linguistic theory.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning preferences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven ability to engage students and maintain discipline.
- Aptitude for fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
