Inspect and prepare rigging equipment such as slings chains shackles and hooks before use. Secure loads by selecting the proper rigging gear based on load type weight and movement method. Assist in setting up cranes or lifting devices under the supervision of the Lifting Supervisor. Signal crane or equipment operators during lifts to ensure safe and precise movements. Check lifting gear certification tags and report any defective or damaged equipment immediately. Follow all lifting plans risk assessments and method statements. Maintain clear communication with crane operators and lifting teams during operations. Ensure the work area is clear of obstructions and properly barricaded before starting lifts. Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings. Maintain and store rigging equipment safely after use. Comply with all health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and site rules.
