Schedule: Part-Time M/W/F 3:00 PM 8:00 PM

About Balletics

Balletics: Raising The Barr is a performance-based training system that empowers youth athletes through structured ballet-inspired movement mental agility training and injury prevention. Our mission within juvenile facilities is civic resurrection transforming incarcerated young men through discipline identity work and performance excellence. We are not volunteers; we are engineers of discipline mentors of resilience and co-authors of new narratives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Balletics Instructor to lead our Sacred Seven Laws of Balletics training program. You will guide 16 to 24-year-old incarcerated young men through rigorous physical training mindset conditioning and character development. This is not a recreational class its a mission-driven role that requires discipline strength and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 4 hours of structured athletic instruction per session including:

    • Warm-Up Core Conditioning Testing Cool-Down and Reflection

  • Facilitate physical performance tracking (KIP: Kinetics Identity Power)

  • Submit daily instructional summaries and incident reports

  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all correctional protocols

  • Participate in special events community engagement and showcases

Minimum Qualifications

  • Athletic Background: Training in ballet dance strength & conditioning or comparable disciplines

  • Youth Engagement: Experience working with teens or young adults in structured programs (sports camps education corrections)

  • Correctional Readiness: Ability to work in secure high-stakes environments with emotional resilience

  • Documentation Skills: Comfortable with data collection journaling facilitation and performance reporting

  • Physical Readiness: Capable of demonstrating and leading high-intensity physical movement

  • DOJ/FBI background check and facility clearance

  • In-person fitness and teaching demonstration

  • Orientation in Sacred Seven Laws & safety protocols
