Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Constructs troubleshoots calibrates adjusts tests and maintains equipment components devices or systems Works from documentation written or verbal instructions schematics rough sketches diagrams layouts and plans often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles. Responsibilities include wiring harnesses crimping cable assemblies and soldering connectors to IPC-620 standards. Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary. May assist in the electrical testing of wiring harnesses. Employee is normally assigned in the cable manufacturing area. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.) SCOPE: Receives detailed instructions on all work. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. IMPACT: Contributions are usually limited to assignment related activities. LIAISON: Interacts daily with supervisor and peer groups. Works is closely with supervisor. Follows specific outline and detailed procedures. TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than 1 year of related experience. Direct experience with ADNS Work station and DVSS project.
Requirements (Education /Years of Experience/Skill Sets both technical & soft skill):
- U.S. Citizen
- Prior relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and analytical skills required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Ability work through issue with all levels of team members
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Assembling hardware per IPC-620 specifications and customer specifications.
- Crimp and build cable assemblies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in a hardware production environment.
- Foundational understanding of ISO Quality Assurance and Configuration Management practices.
- Proactive approach to solving problems.
- Understanding of Electrostatic Display (ESD) and materials protection.
- Duties may include gathering maintaining formatting compiling and manipulating technical data.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $34450.00 - $62275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
