You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the successful execution of ground-up and renovation construction projects within the K-12 education sector. This position requires a highly motivated professional with proven experience delivering school projects on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of assigned K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Coordinate with architects engineers consultants and owners to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop and manage project schedules budgets and subcontractor scopes.
Oversee subcontractor performance procurement and daily field operations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety and contractual standards.
Lead weekly project meetings and maintain clear documentation and reporting.
Support project team with change orders RFIs submittals and punch lists.
Foster positive relationships with school districts clients and key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a strong emphasis on K-12 school construction.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficient in project management software (Procore Microsoft Project or similar).
Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Preferred:
Experience with public school district procurement processes and working in occupied campuses.
Familiarity with local Houston-area school districts and municipal permitting.
