As a Theatre Administrator at our Ipswich Hospital youll bring great communication/interpersonal skills good organisational and analytical skills and be able to work in a busy environment. You have excellent IT and keyboard skills and also be prepared to undertake training as necessary for the role. Thats why were looking for someone who brings a blend of strong administration skills and a passion for exceptional customer care to join knowledge and understanding of medical terminology is desirable but not of working in an administration role would be desirable.
As a Theatre Administrator the main purpose of the job is to provide administrative support to all theatres: co-ordinating planning and organising a range of activities and information.
As a Theatre Administrator you will:
Produce the daily paperwork for each theatre with patient labels timings sheet and TCI lists for the anaesthetist
Update numerous spreadsheets such as consultant leave theatre utilisation capacity
Answer any enquiries from other departments which can relate to things such as bookings coding questions missing details on Pims and general enquiries
Upload all NJR (National Joint Registry) and Breast Implant Forms to the national databases and undertake the yearly audit
Be responsible for the occasional recalling of notes in order to complete NJR or Breast Implant forms
Take notes during departmental meetings
