Job Description

BBIS has an opening for a Home Language Tutor Spanish (f/m/d) - Minijob (556- EUR)

Part-Time: 107 hours per week
Start date: 01.08.2025
Limited initially until 31.07.2026
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES
  • Work with students ages 3-12 under the supervision and guidance of qualified teachers
  • Work with native speaking students in their home language
  • Support their cultural identity
  • Help activate prior knowledge and conceptual understandings when working with the PYP
YOUR QUALIFICATION
  • Applicants must be competent in Spanish at a mother-tongue level and be aware of the complexity of language acquisition in an International School
  • Experience with children
  • Experience of the PYP or evidence of an international interest

Important:Before beginning the employment at BBIS the following documents must be submitted:
  • Proof of immunity against measles which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
  • The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree
  • An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.
