Job Description
The Plasma Cutter Operator is responsible for the operating cutting machines.
- Primarily use plasma cutting equipment to cut pipes.
- Grind galvanized and black pipes as needed to remove paint or coating ensuring a clean area for welding.
- Prepare and assemble piping systems used in fire sprinkler installations.
- Accurately read and use a measuring tape to ensure precise cuts and assembly.
- Identify labels on pipes and cut them accordingly to match specifications.
- Recognize different types of pipes and ensure correct cutting and assembly.
- 2 Years with manual plasma cutting machines and their operation.
- Capability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to plasma cutting
- Able to pass a background check of 7 years.
- Must be bi-lingual.

Qualifications:
Experience
- Proven experience as a Welder with proficiency in Stick welding soldering and Plasma cutting techniques.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Experience operating cranes and rigging equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety practices in the workplace is essential.
