Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.

Position Summary:
The primary focus of the role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of HVAC/R systems and kitchen equipment. The technician will:
- Performpreventive maintenanceandrepairson HVAC/R and kitchen equipment in the Decatur area with occasional support for Erlanger KY and Chicago IL.
- Assist in theinstallationof systems for new construction remodels and retrofits.
The role requires physical endurance and adaptability:
- Ability tostandwalk andclimb ladders or stairs.
- Performheavy liftingas needed.
- Work inadverse weather conditions such as extreme heat cold or inclement weather.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must possess avalid drivers licenseand be able to operate a motor vehicle in a work environment.
- At leastfive years of experiencein HVAC/R systems and maintenance.
The role involves a wide range of technical tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:
HVAC/R Systems:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems usingBuilding Automation Software.
- Install and upgrade HVAC/R systems as part of construction or retrofit projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components such as pumps motors boilers chillers heat pumps and cooling towers.
- Repair and install kitchen appliances and equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing filters and belts cleaning and testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair and replace equipment in the field.
- Maintain accurate records ofrefrigerant usage.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations (e.g. domestic water refrigeration).
- Construct and installductwork.
- Be available foron-call shiftsduring evenings and weekends.
- Perform additional tasks such assnow removaland operating aforkliftas needed.
The candidate must have expertise in:
- Electricity and electrical circuits.
- Thermodynamic propertiesof refrigerants and refrigeration systems.
- Proper use of tools andpipe fitting.
