Job Description
The Student Multimedia Production Assistant will asset with the creation editing and organization of multimedia resources used in child welfare courses for Ohios University Consortium of Child and Adult Services. This Assistant will work closely with an OUCCAS Instructional Designer to produce audio and video content that advances OUCCASs mission of creating effective child welfare courses for caseworkers trainers and supervisors in Ohio. Key Responsibilities: Perform basic video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools. Create edit and synchronize VTT caption files for training videos to ensure accessibility compliance. Make minor edits to audio files such as trimming leveling or noise reduction. Attend video shoots when possible and assist with basic on-set production tasks gaining hands-on experience in a professional video environment. Organize and maintain media assets including raw footage project files and final exports. Assist in transferring and backing up media between online storage platforms and physical media Support staff with general post-production tasks and preparation of files for course integration.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency or strong interest in Adobe Premiere Pro and related tools. Familiarity with or willingness to learn captioning workflows and accessible video standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn new tools and processes related to multimedia production. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or collaboratively as needed. Interest in multimedia production instructional design or educational/training media.
