The NCDIT Service Delivery organization provides for the central provisioning of the services offered by NCDIT including data voice and video for the State of North Carolina and other authorized government and public sector entities. The Service Delivery team designs develops and maintains the North Carolina Information Network (NCIN) the States official secure data communications network. NCIN is a multiprotocol router-based Wide Area Network providing statewide data communications and Internet connectivity to all Executive Branch agencies and participating non-Executive public sector entities.
The Network Field Support unit provides onsite field support to DIT customer sites statewide across a range of services such as WANLAN Security and VoIP.
TheN.C. Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services that NCDIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies as well as schools colleges and universities. NCDITsmission is to enable trusted business-driven solutions that meet the needs of North Carolinians.
