Qualifications youll bring:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting
- Hybrid 8 days/week Schenectady N.Y.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth
- Humility to play as a team

Your key responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating journal entries via interpreting business data and translating to accounting ledger dimensions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with accounting team to provide innovative approaches for continued improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.
