Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will engage in intricate clerical tasks which encompass receptionist duties and the evaluation and processing of agency-related information through various functions. Operating with a significant degree of independence you will provide comprehensive clerical support to the agency facilitating the completion of all administrative programmatic and fiscal responsibilities. Your main focus will be to oversee the receptionist area ensuring that the agencys needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. Additionally you will participate in cross-training with colleagues in the fiscal and clerical unit to offer assistance as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerk Typist 1 and educational development to the level of eighth grade;or
  • Completion of a high school business curriculum which included at least one typing course;or
  • Any combination of equivalent experience and training.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
