Founded in 1978 by 3-time Presidential appointee Gavin de Becker our firms Protectors Analysts and Investigators are committed to our mission of protecting human life through the assessment prediction and management of violence.
GDBA is seeking a Field Travel Protector to be ready and able to travel and advance internationally up to 130 days per year. Must live within a commutable distance of downtown Washington DC to be eligible for this position.
First year earnings for this role start at a minimum of $100000 based on a 40-hour work week. This position offers earnings potential of up to $120000 commensurate with experience overtime opportunities bonuses travel pay and more. A sign-on bonus and training academy scholarship is also available.
Mission:
Provide executive protection and logistics support as needed including when the clients travel both domestically and abroad.
Advance locations prior to a protectees arrival.
Center point for disseminating information regarding security-related incidents to the protectee and leadership.
Coordinate contingency plans and medical response to emergencies.
Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy.
Exercises sound operational judgment and flexibility to shifting priorities and challenges.

Required Qualifications:
3 years experience working in a full-time certified law enforcement officer position (can be military or civilian)
Ability to travel upwards of 130 days per year (travel typically occurs in 1-2 week blocks)
Exceptional Communication Skills and Physical Fitness.
Drug and Nicotine-Free.

Has demonstrated exceptional results in a Close Protection role including managing logistics advancing locations and providing secure transportation.
