Job Description

In this vital role you will lead insights generation by integrating multitude of secondary and primary data sources and engaging several Customer Data and Analytics (CD&A) colleagues to develop a comprehensive understanding of brand performance and provide reporting solutions to drive it. The ability to clearly communicate requirements design and release of reports to Field and Executive Leadership is essential.

Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks CA or Deerfield IL office. You will work on-site a minimum of 2-3 days a week.

Reporting SME
Engage stakeholders to confirm reporting solution enhancements by negotiating requirements defining data and UI business rules designing report changes testing for alignment and releasing reports on schedule
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation and implementation of business rules for reporting deliverables
Partner with the field training team to develop training materials and deliver training to new hires
Project Management
Provide senior leadership visibility into Reports releases
Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.g. weekly key metric dashboards monthly tracking reports)
Lead cross-functional teams to enhance reports and reporting processes based on evolving business needs with flexibility as new areas of responsibility emerge
Manage weekly release runs for field dashboards portal communications and data inquiries
Develop and implement reporting quality control standards and processes to ensure report accuracy
Ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory compliance SOPs and regulations by yourself vendors and product teams
Team Management
Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure efficient project completion
Build positive relationships and work cross-functionally with field marketing finance the broader CD&A team and other partners to define and communicate reporting requirements based on both secondary and primary data analysis
Offer guidance to managers and team members helping them navigate project phases and initiate tickets as needed
Cross-BU and CD&A Innovation
Drive innovation by researching and implementing new reporting and analytical tools methodologies best practices (internal and external) and new data sources to improve the capabilities of the US Analytics & Reporting team

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

OR

Masters degree and 4 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Data and Technical Expertise

Developing SME in data analytics dashboarding and reporting approaches
Strong experience with brand sales activity reporting and incentive compensation. Skilled in Plan of Action (POA) targeting and field systems solutions such as Veeva (Salesforce) Customer Master (MDM) and reporting tools like Tableau and PowerBI
Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical data including IMS DDD Xponent data Plan Track Managed Markets and chargeback data is highly desirable
Project Management and Analytical Skills
Proficient in transforming unstructured business issues/requests into actionable plans that result in strategic or tactical outcomes and reports
Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver solutions and manage competing priorities effectively
Experience in data management business analysis and solution design/development
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Proven experience managing multiple leadership partners and delivering on competing priorities
Strong client service and communication skillswritten oral and presentationtailored to various audiences from senior leadership to front-line staff and peers across functions
Ability to simplify complex concepts through verbal communication or visual aids (e.g. PowerPoint)
Process Improvement
Expertise in analytics/consultative skills to enhance methodologies and standard processes
Ability to prioritize team efforts and resources to complete tasks on time and achieve project objectives
Proficient in facilitating negotiating and resolving conflicts effectively within teams
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement
Consistently engages and collaborates with cross-functional teams to shape brand strategy and assess risks and opportunities

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
