Job Description
**Job Title: Housekeeper**
**Location:** Solstice Fenton
**Job Type:*Full time
**Reports To:** Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills work independently and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms bathrooms public areas and other spaces as required.
- Dust vacuum sweep and mop floors; polish furniture and fixtures.
- Change bed linens towels and other amenities as per housekeeping standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or items that need replacement to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Assist with laundry duties and ensure linens and uniforms are clean and presentable.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns and communicate effectively with team members.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect for guest privacy at all times.
- Follow established procedures for entering and cleaning guest rooms.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
**Working Conditions:**
- May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical demands such as lifting and bending.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
