Licenses: NV RN license required prior to start Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS (APEX) Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required. Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred. Must have experience with vasopressors titratable drips art lines neuro stepdown patients procedural sedation thrombolytics and trach will be expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Christmas New Years)Unit Description:The intermediate care unit comprises of 18 beds and focuses on individuals who are experiencing severe but usually non-life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments moderately intensive therapies and interventions and moderate levels of nursing vigilance. These patients encompass all types of general medical disease processes including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke sepsis cardiac and respiratory.
