Job Description
Howard Memorial is looking for a NP or a PA to join our surgery team! This is a full-time day shift M-F position with benefits. This position will work closely with the surgeon surgery team as well as on the floor at times.

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure that all necessary equipment is sterilized and available.
- Provide postoperative care and monitoring.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and postoperative care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in surgical rounds and staff meetings.
- Any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Current RN license Current Nurse Practitioner License or Certified Physician Assistant(PA-C)
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Masters degree from accredited university.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
