Job Description
Location:Myrtle Beach SC
Beach Automotive Groupis a leading automotive dealership in Myrtle Beach SC committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as aCashier. Responsibilities:
- Maintain the front-facing window for checkouts ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process for customers.
- Accurately process various customer transactions including cash credit/debit cards and checks.
- Generate and provide customers with accurate receipts for all transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile the cash drawer ensuring accuracy and security of all funds.
- Assist with document preparation for digital retention ensuring all necessary information is captured and categorized correctly.
- Maintain meticulous document organization both physical and digital for easy retrieval and compliance.
- Perform opening and closeout procedures for the cash drawer tele-check machine paper checks and card payments adhering to established protocols.
- Assist with minor administrative duties such as faxing paperwork mailing Tag cards and processing refunds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Reliable and punctual.
