A Day in the Life

The Corporate Content & Creative team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Video & Motion Graphics Production Specialist who can shoot and edit high-profile video productions as well as create high-quality motion graphics for our corporate external and internal channels. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic global storytelling and design team that embraces experimentation cross-team collaborations and integrated campaigns.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and produce high-profile video projects including short and long form content for brand storytelling brand marketing and social media campaigns

  • Light shoot and edit high-end video assets create video assets from ideation to completion along with equipment management quality assurance and video archiving

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create solutions that drive shared results

  • Negotiate timelines and budgets with internal partners

  • Work closely with the creative team to research brainstorm storyboard and to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in animation and editing techniques

  • Ensures on a consistent basis that high quality work is delivered on time and on-budget

  • Potential for travel 30%

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience in production design project coordination/communications experience

OR

  • Associates Degree with 6 years experience in production design project coordination/communications experience

OR

  • Bachelors Degree with 4 years experience in production design project coordination/communications experience

Nice to Have:

  • Video: Expert level in Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro After Effects. Familiarity with emergenging AI Video tools

  • Audio: Experience with Adobe Audition

  • Graphic design: Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Illustrator

  • Experience with a variety of video camera types including DSLR

  • Experience leading a production and/or a production team

  • Must be versatile and adapt production approach to meet audience partner and channel needs.

  • Portfolio/resume reel

  • Agency experience a plus

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline

  • Knowledge of social media culture and a strong understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$80000.00 - $120000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
