Job Description

Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Clinton IA
Pay: Starts at $30.00/hr.
Shift(s) Available: DAY Shift 6:30AM 5:00PM
Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays and on occasion different shifts.

Summary:
Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs on equipment at a world-scale corn milling facility with a heavy emphasis on Safety and Maintenance Reliability.

Job Requirements:
  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
  • Strong safety values
  • Strong fundamental skills (math reading writing)
  • Training in electrical and/or instrumentation work (in industry setting preferred)
  • Direct industrial maintenance experience or high exposure to industrial maintenance preferred
  • Computer skills - a must
  • PLC experience and industrial controls experience preferred
  • Familiarity with 3 phase electrical systems
  • Knowledge of ADM-Clinton plant a strong plus
  • Experience with CMMS a strong plus
  • Flexibility in accepting change
  • Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
  • Work rotating shifts
  • Perform call in duties
  • Knowledge of NEC code requirements
  • ABC schooling or apprenticeship completion is a strong plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances stand for long periods climb stairs and ladders work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
