NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY
Data Engineer R&D IT
Duties: Execute the vision for FMCs data and analytics strategy supporting a wide spectrum of data needs ranging from large scale data management cloud infrastructure modern data architecture and data science use cases through rapid prototyping. Engineer and deliver high quality data pipelines for data warehousing data analysis and big data solutions factoring in data quality performance management security and scalability. Lead and participate in architecture discussions recommend design choices and execute projects balancing strategic and tactical goals. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines processes and configurations. Collaborate and foster cross-functional relationships with data scientists analysts application developers IT infrastructure IT security and business stakeholders to understand data needs and build reliable solutions.
Requirements: Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field of study. Requires 3 years of experience as a data engineer including experience in designing developing and maintaining data pipelines and extract-transfer-load (ETL) processes and implementing data models and schemas. Experience specified must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: relational database design data modeling and data warehousing; modern data warehouses and optimizing ETL data pipelines; one or more visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau etc.; implementing analytic platforms in at least one of the major cloud ecosystems such as MS Azure Google Cloud AWS etc.; and version control systems. Experience specified must also include 1 year of experience building data and analytics solutions. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
