Job Description

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD is seeking experienced system engineer with familiarity in Submarines. Our mission is to support the various Naval Sea Systems Commands (NAVSEA) in their missions to enable research development test and evaluation acquisition engineering systems integration in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity comprehensive logistics and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking an engineer with a working knowledge of Fly-By-Wire Submarine systems and / or other control systems to support U.S. Navy Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) programs. You will provide engineering and technical assistance.

The Submarine Fly-By-Wire Engineer is in support of the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) is a full-time position with travel to Submarine Fleet concentration areas.

  • The position will facilitate testing and fielding of the Navys Fly-By-Wire Ship Control System
  • Analyze and develop system requirements
  • Conduct Physcial & Functional Configuration Audits
  • Create Alteration Installation Team supporting doucmentation develop technical manuals
  • Collaborate on fleet implementation and fielding plans
  • Develop and execute test plans as Test Director utilizing SUBMEPP Test Standards
  • Travel to fleet concentration areas to complete System Operability Verification Testing
  • Train fleet personnel on system enhancements.

*This position is for potential upcoming work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering Physics Science Mathematics Computer Science or Information Systems field and 5 years work expeirence
  • HS Diploma and 11years experience in duties similar to that of an ISEA and/or10 years experience in duties of Validation and Verification
  • Up to 25% travel required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Fault Tolerant Processing
  • Sec certified (may be obtained within 6 months of hiring)
  • Familiarity with Submarine Temporary Alterations

Posted Salary Range

USD $93200.00 - USD $145550.00 /Yr.
